Sorry for the lazy, I’ve been meaning to post this new video of Lily as well get the 14 month photo link up in the sidebar (which will be later this week). Things here are pretty good. Lily is getting to be a decent cruiser, but still won’t take an independent step. She stands on her own really well, but isn’t quite confident enough to move without support, but she’ll get there.
Her eating is improving and we are actually getting some whole milk down her. Her nap schedule, which was so solid (2 a day), has started to change. She’s starting to transition to one and it’s hard on all of us (probably hardest on me as I really relied on nap time to get some things, like showering, done).
The weather is awful, freezing cold. -5 right now and that’s not factoring the wind chill which makes it about -15. Just ridiculous. Lambeau is a big wimp. When it’s this cold he won’t go potty on the lawn, he does his bidness on the patio, so right now we have frozen puppy pee puddles that I’m pretty sure we could just go pry off. Gross! We’re pretty happy with how the house is handling this cold overall. There is only one window that we feel needs replacing as it’s currently covered in frost, which is not a good sign. Today’s the big Green Bay game. I can’t imagine the level of insanity it would take to actually be at Lambeau Field, but we’ll be watching it in glorious HD on our big screen, snuggled up in warm blankets on our way too comfy love seat recliners rooting on the Packers. I’m a Denver Broncos fan (and yes, you do remember correctly, we DID beat them in Super Bowl XXXII), but have no problem rooting on GB. I’m especially happy for their success as there are two former BSU players on the team (Daryn Colledge #73 from North Pole, AK and Korey Hall #35 from Glenn’s Ferry, ID) that I used to watch (in person) play on the Smurf Turf.
Okay, I have to go get ready for church. This is my week to serve in the children’s ministry. I work in the K-1 class and I really love it. I’m stunned that services aren’t canceled today, but I have to remember that these freakin’ Midwesterners have dealt with this kind of weather for generations.
Here’s Miss Lily:

Aww, thanks for sharing, I could watch it over and over! And she is definately saying Bunny!
Wow, everytime I visit the blog she grows so much! I wouldn’t worry yourself about the walking thing. As soon as she gets it, she’ll be off and running! You should really come down and warm-up. Today was almost 80.
Keep smilin’,
